Deleting your account
You can delete your Clad9 account at any time: in the app, on the website, or by email if you can't sign in. Deleting your account deletes everything. This page explains how, and what happens when you do.
Last updated October 12, 2026
1. In the app
In the Clad9 app for Android, open You, then Profile, and tap Delete account. Clad9 asks you to confirm before anything is deleted.
Uninstalling the app doesn't delete your account. Your closet stays as it was until you delete the account itself.
2. On the website
Sign in at clad9.com, open You, then Profile under Account, and choose Delete account at the foot of the page. It's also at clad9.com/account/settings. Clad9 asks you to confirm before anything is deleted.
3. By email, if you can't sign in
If you can't sign in, or no longer have the app, email privacy@clad9.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it, and we'll do it.
If you'd rather we deleted something than waited for you to find the right setting, email us the same way.
4. What is deleted
Deleting your account deletes everything. Your account closes the moment you confirm: you're signed out on every device, any subscription is cancelled, and your email address can be used again straight away. Within minutes we then delete everything that was in it, files included: your closet and every photo of it, your photos of yourself, your outfit selfies, every look and picture we made for you, your lookbooks, trips, inspiration and notes, your calendar connections and events, and your connected assistants. Nothing is kept, and it can't be undone.
We also withdraw what we held elsewhere on your behalf: we revoke Clad9's access to your Google Calendar and your Sign in with Apple at Google and Apple. Microsoft offers apps no way to revoke access, so for an Outlook calendar we delete our copy of the access, and you can remove Clad9 from your Microsoft account yourself.
5. What stays
Records of your payments stay outside our systems. Payments on the website are handled by Stripe, and payments in the app by Google Play. Each keeps its own record of your payments, as payment processors must, under its own privacy policy. We cancel your subscription; we can't delete their records.
6. A subscription through Google Play
If you pay for Clad9 through Google Play, deleting your account cancels that subscription for you, as it does a subscription paid on the website, so there is nothing to cancel in Google Play yourself. Your Google Play subscription stops renewing. Google Play may show it until the period you've paid for ends.
